The exhibition presents a set of landscapes in pastel on paper in which Alexandre Conefrey departs from the theme as it was treated by Dutch artists in the 17th century. The recreation summons the imaginary atmospheres of 17th-century painting to which he added views of places he knew. His work frequently questions the place of landscape in contemporary art.
