PAULA REGO (Lisbon, Portugal 1935 – London, United Kingdom 2022)
Portuguese-British artist, studied at the Slade School of Art in London and was a member of The London Group. In 1989, was shortlisted for the Turner Prize. Since her first solo exhibition in 1965, her work has been exhibited in the most prestigious galleries and museums around the world: 2022, “Paula Rego. The Story of Stories”, Pera Museum, Istanbul, Turkey; “Paula Rego.
