Fernando Lemos (Portugal, 1926). Studied at Escola de Artes Decorativas António Arroio and Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, Lisbon. Lives in Brazil since 1953. Being one of the biggest names of the Portuguese surrealist movement, Lemos is represented in several national and international collections. In 1994, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s Modern Art Center exhibited a retrospective of his photographic work.
